The official FAQ confirms an integrated mod.io browser across platforms. Steam Workshop is not included in Transport Fever 3.
01Where to find mods
Use the in-game mod browser to discover and manage mods. Urban Games identifies mod.io as the system behind that browser and describes one shared destination across the supported platforms.
Steam ownership does not add a separate Steam Workshop catalog for this game. The official FAQ also says manual sharing and downloading outside the integrated browser remains possible.

02Check the individual mod
A shared browser is not evidence that every mod works with every save or game update. Read the mod author's description, requirements and compatibility notes before adding it to an established world.
- Check that the mod is explicitly for Transport Fever 3.
- Read required dependencies and any save restrictions.
- Keep a separate copy of a save before experimenting.
- Record which mods changed if a problem appears.
These are general modding precautions. We have not tested individual mods, and this guide does not claim Transport Fever 2 mod compatibility.
03Get help with the right context
For a mod-specific issue, start with the author's available support information. For a game issue, use the official support page or forum. Include your platform, game version, affected mod and a short reproduction sequence.
See our community directory to distinguish developer support from player discussion.
